What happened to that NWA reunion with an Eazy-E hologram so many people were talking about at Coachella?
Before Sunday’s headlining performance by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, rumors were running rampant around the Empire Polo Fields about the rappers big surprise for the night. That surprise included a special performance by Dr. Dre’s original NWA members including rapper Ice Cube, and an Eazy-E hologram.
There were even rumors that the much talked about Tupac hologram would be ditched on Sunday night for a Nate Dogg version … but in the end, all of those rumors were bogus. The rappers’ shows from weekend to weekend were essentially the same with appearances from 50 Cent, Kurupt, Eminem, Wiz Khalifa and Hologram Tupac.

While the holograms didn’t make an appearance at the music festival, we’re told Dre is planning on taking Hologram Tupac on tour, so maybe we’ll see versions of other deceased rappers after he hits the road.
