The singer shot her music video for “Dark Side” in Los Angeles on Saturday and had a few costume changes. When she donned a black evening grown with green accents — she looked simply gorgeous.

Kelly was American Idol’s first winner and is arguably the most successful performer the show has produced. Carrie Underwood is a close second.

      Richard, I can understand that you might like Kelly but calling her the most successful IDOL performer__utter nonsense!!!

      I guess you aren’t well-informed. Please get to know about Carrie Underwood’s achievements. I’m sure if you stick to your statement you’ll do that deliberately, just because you may not be MAN enough to acknowledge that Carrie managed to overtake Kelly a few years ago.

        The fact that you’re somebody’s “dad” makes me feel sorry for your kid, with all your hateful comments. What has Kelly ever done to you?

        And, you should learn your facts! Kelly has sold double of what Carrie has in albums and singles around the world and has been successful in every musical genre with a Number 1 on every Billboard chart! Nobody knows who Carrie is outside of North America and nobody cares about the Country charts! The Hot 100 is what matters and Kelly has more than tripled Carrie’s accomplishments there!

        Carrie is talented but Kelly’s voice is praised by everybody! Who talks about Carrie’s Super Bowl performance, remembers her American Idol song or any of her concerts? All they can say is how great she looked or how many times she changed costumes!

        Carrie is plastic and has changed since she became famous-not Kelly! She is still down-to-earth. So she gained some weight. Who cares? Only Internet trolls like you who couldn’t get a hot woman anyway. The only problem Kelly has is her often poor fashion choices. It’s obvious she doesn’t have a gay stylist because no gay man would send her out in some of those outfits.

        So, learn your facts before you speak!

        It’s great that you like Carrie Underwood–a lot apparently. But just in sheer global album sales and in money made Kelly Clarkson is pretty much top of the Idol heap.

        The only metric where Carrie Underwood beats Clarkson is in total US album sales, not counting singles. Clarkson’s global album sales are something like twice Underwood, with Breakaway alone selling pretty much as many albums globally as Underwood has sold in her entire career.

      Kelly Clarkson has the greatest voice on the planet. Carrie who??? She is nothing outside of the country world. And the country world is very small which is why Carrie has had success. Carrie is pretty which also helps her. Carrie’s talent is nowhere close to Kelly’s. Kelly is so much more talented and creative. Kelly is a true artist and song writer. Carrie doesn’t have a clue what creativity is. Hey Richard’s Dad, listen to the song “I Know You Won’t” versions by Kelly Clarkson and the version by Carrie Underwood. There is NO CONTEST who the more talented artist is……KELLY FREAKING CLARKSON wins by a landslide!!!!!!
