The cast and crew of CMT’s reality show Southern Nights are helping the Savannah, Georgia Police Department capture a domestic violence suspect by turning over a violent video to them, RumorFix has learned exclusively.
RumorFix has obtained the video and we warn you it is very graphic.
Things got really ugly as cameras accidentally filmed an unidentified local man violently punching a woman presumed to be his wife in the chest. We’re told the cast watched in horror as the whole thing was captured on tape.

Producers and cast members are now assisting police in what is apparently a case of domestic violence. RumorFix has confirmed with Captain Mike Wilkins of Savannah PD that a videotape was turned over to his department.

What happened next is unclear, but the man is seen unconscious and badly beaten with a head wound in the street. Some locals are suggesting that Southern Nights cast members, specifically 250-pound Landon Chase and chiseled Collin Varallo, gave the man a beating as payback for assaulting the woman.
At this point, no arrests have been made in the case, for either the original assault or the subsequent beating of the man.
Southern Nights, which is like Jersey Shore in the South, airs Saturday nights at 10 p.m. on CMT.
