
Now that Rosie O’Donnell has left Oprah Winfrey and the OWN network, she says she’s focusing on on her “new job” to take care of herself.

The 50-year-0ld obviously learned a thing or two about self-esteem from Oprah, because she wrote on her blog:”I have a new job — taking care of me to live strong and long, to not ignore my body. Own it, accept it, see it, love it. To focus inward — not outward. 2 create new neutral pathways around the old grooves.”
Rosie also revealed that in the end her OWN talk show “ended up being something closer to the original idea … an hour of talk no pretense.”

The comedian says things were easier in the 90s, when she was in her thirties and “just one child — still in diapers.” There were four TV channels and “the internet was AOL.”
“Now a half century old,” she writes, “the world has changed as have I.”
