Pilar Sanders, who was thrown in jail for a confrontation with her estranged husband, Deion Sanders, is claiming she is innocent and her attorney tells RumorFix exclusively, “We have evidence of witnesses that completely contradict Mr. Sanders story!”
Peter Schulte confirms that 36-year-old was put on an emergency protective order — meaning she can’t return home for 60 days. But, Schulte points out that in Texas anyone who is charged with family violence is put on an emergency protective order. “It had nothing to do with Mr. Sanders. It had nothing to do with my client,” he said.
Pilar was charged with a Class C misdemeanor, which is the lowest level assault in Texas.
The world found out about the alleged attack when the football star tweeted Monday, “Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room..”
After spending the night in jail, Pilar paid a $264 bail and got out telling the media, “I understand that I have very a little chance to at beating a Hall of Fame two sport man that everyone seems to love and adore.”
