Little House On The Prairie star Melissa Gilbert was not well enough to attend Tuesday night’s Dancing with the Stars results show.
The actress was rushed to the hospital during Monday night’s competition after she hit her head while performing the paso doble with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
And on Tuesday night Dancing host Tom Bergeron gave worried fans and co-stars and update on Gilbert’s health:
“Melissa is not here. She did suffer a mild concussion. On her doctor’s advice she is taking a rest day and if they get through tonight she’ll be able to compete going forward.”
Her partner ,Chmerkovskiy, who also got injured slipping and falling on his arm, had high hopes for his beloved Dancing pal. ”I really do hope she’s okay. She’s a fighter, a trooper. I’m looking forward to next week. She’s looking forward to next week. But she’s a little sedated so she doesn’t know what she’s looking forward to.”
