The folks over at HollywoodLife.com seem to naively think that any tweet Rihanna sends out into the universe is somehow in reference to Chris Brown.
The website has published two stories this week alleging that the Barbadian beauty wants her ex back “so badly” that she’s employing Twitter to send him “naughty messages.”
“You wanna touch yourself when you see me; tell me how you love my body,” is one of the messages Rihanna sent out this week, along with, “So if you love me baby, this is how you let me know, don’t ever let me go … baby.”
What the HollywoodLife.com staff doesn’t seem to realize is that these tweets are song lyrics, not a covert effort by Rihanna to seduce Brown. The first lyric is from a Robin Thicke song titled, “Lost Without You,” and the other is a tune by Rihanna’s mentor, Jay-Z.
If Rihanna really wanted to seduce Brown, she’d probably just text him; that would seem to be a much more direct way of doing things.
Still, something tells us that if Rihanna tweeted, “Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb …” HollywoodLife.com would interpret that as some sort of coded proposal to elope in the hills of Ireland.
