True

Two African-American men are suing ABC and the creators of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for alleged racial discrimination.

But RumorFix has learned some alums from the dating shows are coming forward defending the show’s casting procedures.

Erica Rose, who was on The Bachelor Season Nine and The Bachelor Pad, tells RumorFix exclusively, “From my knowledge and experience, The Bachelor producers and ABC executives who I’ve become close with over the last six years are completely colorblind as are the contestants … I know there was diversity on my season and I think Bachelor [Lorenzo] Borghese was open minded in that regard as I would be too if I were The Bachelorette.

Elizabeth Kitt, from The Bachelor Season 14 and The Bachelor Pad, agreed, tweeting, “racist?? People are so quick to sue. If more black men and women would apply to be on the show, greater the chances! Duh!!!”

Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson say they auditioned for Bachelor producers, but were promptly dismissed.

Justin “Rated R” Rego, who competed for Ali Fedotowsky’s attention, bashed the men who brought on the lawsuit, “Christopher Johnson & Nathaniel Claybrooks need to get a life, rejection is part of life so don’t pull a hissyfit when you don’t get your way.”
