Lamar Odom’s forgettable run with the Dallas Mavericks is officially over. A spokeswoman for the team confirms that the reality star and power forward has been cut from the team after an emotional and abysmal season.

Lamar released this statement to ESPN on Monday morning addressing his departure from the team:

“The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team. I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.”

Lamar was traded from the Mavericks from the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this season. He’s averaged career lows in almost every statistic since joining the team.

      Lemar really needed to continue doing what was working for him before he met the Khardashians. Just because he married a Kharadashian doesn’t mean you relinguish all your business to them.       Give the man a break why don’t you.  He is still realing from the fact that he was traded by the Lakers to begin with.  So it will take him some time.  Why not kick him when he’s down.  He is undisputeably a good player and hopefully just needs some time to regroup………
