Spokesman Doug Wright said Robin was able to nod and communicate with his family, who have been by his side for a week.
Fellow Bee Gees star Barry Gibb has been providing his own kind of therapy– by singing to his brother.
The 62-year-old fell into a coma after suffering from pneumonia in his battle against colon and liver cancer.
There are reports that Robin cried when his wife, Dwina, played him Roy Orbison’s 1962 song “Crying.”
