Madonna has never been one to run from controversy, so when electronic music deejay Deadmau5 claimed that the pop icon was glamorizing drug use with her new album, we all knew our favorite “Virgin” would have a rebuttal.
The pop queen contacted Deadmau5 on Twitter after he accused her of glamorizing ecstasy during her appearance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida. The music producer claimed Madonna was referring to the slang term for MDMA – the main ingredient in ecstasy – when she asked: “How many people in this crowd have seen Molly?”
Madonna, however, said she was merely referring to the title of a song by her friend Cedric Gervais.
The pair appeared to resolve their conflict during a Twitter conversation, and Madonna posted a photo of a “broken pinky swear” when Deadmau5 asked her to be more aware at future electronic dance music events.

“Communication is always best. You should have called me first, we could have cleared it up ‘privately.’
See you on the road,” Madonna wrote.
So classy, that Madge,
