On Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s birthday last November, she and Jionni LaValle walked into B&B Jewelers in Wayne, New Jersey to pick up some jewelry that her father bought her.
While she was there, she tried on some wedding rings, owner Ben Bekdas tells RumorFix exclusively. “She put on a couple of rings — she was giving him some hints.”

Jionni came back later and asked the jeweler to blend three ring styles, creating a unique five carat sparkler worth $55,000. The center carat is 3.2 carats and there are smaller diamonds around the band.
Jionni proposed to Snooki on Valentine’s Day.
Ben, who has designed jewelry for Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, talk show host Wendy Williams and rapper Missy Elliot, says that Jionni “Is a true gentlemen.” And, contrary to the character she plays on Jersey Shore, Ben says, “Both Nicole and Jionni are very well spoken.”
