In February, Jersey Shore’s Jonny “The Unit” Manfre told RumorFix, he would only pose nude for a magazine if he couldn’t pay his mortgage.
Well it is the end of the month.
No, Jonny isn’t posing completely nude for Triox Magazine – he’s doing something that photographers call “implied nudity.” He’s naked, but not showing his — uhm “unit.”
PICTURES: Jonny “The Unit” Nearly Nude
Jonny, who exudes more confidence than Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Pauly D, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Magro put together, tells RumorFix exclusively, “I’m far from shy and I am almost never embarrassed but that shoot definitely pushed the limits of my coolness.”

Jonny goes on to say, “It was kind of like getting undressed for a doctor’s examination except with cameras and a room full of people. Fortunately nobody asked me to cough. After a few minutes I was able to get comfortable though and started having fun with it. The lesson I learned is that it’s really hard to look like a badass when you’re pretty much butt naked, but I think I pulled it off … at least that’s what I’m telling myself.”

If one of the pictures looks familiar, it’s because it was inspired by a photo of Adam Levine for Cosmo UK in January 2011. “I thought that although it was very risque, the style of photography was quite sexy and I figured that I owed it to the female fans out there to give them something to use their imagination with.”
