Whitney Houston’s Death Photo — Appalling!

Posted on February 22nd, 2012 at 4:28 pm

The National Enquirer has done the unthinkable — the tabloid has published what it is calling “Whitney: The Last Photo.”

RumorFix will not stoop to their level and publish it here, we instead are posting the most beautiful picture of Whitney that we could find!

The Enquirer’s picture shows the superstar’s lifeless body wearing a purple dress — laying in a casket with her nickname “Nippy” overhead.

The tabloid even had the gall of putting the tasteless photo on its cover.

PICTURES: Whitney Houston’s Final Journey

The picture was obviously taken before the family’s private viewing last Friday at the Wingham Funeral Home and some low life sold it to the supermarket tabloid.

We at RumorFix are appalled — we believe in showing respect to the dead. This is something that happens in third world countries — not in America.

But knowing it came from the National Enquirer — it doesn’t really surprise us. What shocked us more was that the rag was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize two years ago.

She is dead, it was an open cascet, polititians and others like Eva Peron etc… where displayed for the world to see, even Mother Theresa. Her daughter saw her before burial. Only thing that is shocking is the lack of privacy, it is certain family wanted it to be private, and it is wrong to publish the pic. Other than that she looks like she is asleep. Nothing special, death is the only part of life that is certain, it’s the most normal thing. I would find it appaling if the pictures were from the hotel where she was found. This way, only thing that bothers me is the fact that privacy wasn9t respected.

Don’t think that the picture is at all appropriate
That being said, as an American I don’t appreciate the “this is something that happens in a third world nation, not America comment. It seems wrong to me to be saying such things
