Just when we thought all was good between Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s family — there are reports that the New Edition singer stormed out of the New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday afternoon during Whitney’s funeral.

According to the Star-Ledger, Brown brought an entourage of nine people with him and wanted them to sit with him in the family section.

“They were asked to leave,” the person said, referring to the entourage. Brown was not asked to leave, but “he left with the other people,” the source says.

Rev Al Sharpton apparently was trying to intervene — here’s what he tweeted:

UPDATE: Rev. Jesse Jackson tells CNN that Bobby had sat down in the front row with his entourage and ushers told him the area was ‘reserved for family” and he was asked to leave. Jackson points out that Bobby & Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, did not see the incident. Jackson says he tried to get Bobby to stay.

      In my opinion I think it was his family and they ask them to leave, but they didn’t ask him to leave only because of his daughter that he had with Whitney Houston

      Bobbi Kris and the family did wonderful…Bobby wasnt asked to leave he left on his own because he brought people who were not invited and they sat in the family section…he did not make a scene…he paid his respect to Whitney in a proper way and then he left…the home going was great…good job cissy you took the world to church and only Whitney could cause a turn out like that because who knows the next time alot of you will be going to church….unless its ur home going…time for a change people God bless

      This was the day for Bobby to man up and be the father Bobbi Kris needed, that is what Whitney would have wanted. He was given 3 tickets and brought 9 people with him. He should have done what was asked and had the extra people leave. It’s too bad that just this once he could not put his daughter above his ego.

      BOBBY WAS THERE FOR HIS DAUGHTER. ALONG WITH HIS DAUGHTERS OTHER SIBLINGS. IN MY THOUGHTS BOBBY SHOULD HAVE BEEN RIGHT THERE WITH BOBBI KRISTINA AN NO MATTER THE PEOPLE THAT CAME WITH HIM, THEY WERE THERE NEEDING THE SUPPORT OF ONE ANOTHER. FAMILY IS FAMILY. An in GODS eyes Bobby Whitney an every child of both were a FAMILY, no matter the situation…Just my opinion

      It is sad that even at her funeral, Bobby Brown wanted to be the center of attention.  He should have had his “people” wait outside.  He is NOT family…They were legally divorced.  He should of done the right thing and been there for his daughter but instead, he chose to make a scene and ride Whitney’s coat tail one last time…Very bad taste, but he got what he wanted….publicity….we are all talking about him…. think he is a waste of skin….
