Oprah Defends Whitney Houston From Critics

Posted on February 12th, 2012 at 9:39 am
True

Oprah Winfrey, who conducted one of the most revealing interviews with Whitney Houston in history, is coming to the singer’s defense on Twitter. Oprah first tweeted on Sunday morning:

“To me, Whitney was THE VOICE. We got to hear a part of God every time she sang. Heart is heavy, spirit grateful for the GIFT of her.”

Following that tweet, one of Oprah’s followers began chastising her for praising what he calls, “a druggie.” Oprah offered this response to the person, a person who calls himself a reverend in his Twitter name:

“What I know for sure: God is Love. Love does not condemn. I didn’t know God was in the drug law business.

Whitney’s battle with drugs was well documented, but Beverly Hills Police Department have not revealed any information that would lead one to believe that Houston’s passing had to do with substance abuse.

Good on you Oprah! Some people seemingly waiting to criticize and kick someone even when they’re down and out. Call’s himself a reverend? Disgusting!

Don’t give people like that airtime, waste of time and space, will never be a light to anyone in their life – please God her daughter will find that light – I often think celebs should have a ranch where they have to get down and dirty, good wholesome work which, just might put their thoughts together in their head so they can figure things out for themselves. Stay out of the limelight even if it takes years so people see how strong you are and be a great influence to others. That’s how we everyday people do it, other celebs do it!

Surround yourselves with good people and don’t take yourself to serious!

“Let those without sin throw the first stone”.  We don’t know how she died and truly it does not matter – the fact is Whitney is gone.  There will be no new songs – we will not see her again.  I have been a fan of Whitney’s for a long, long time.   Her song has seem me through some good times and bad.  I have been praying for her – all I have ever wanted is for her to find peace and love.  She deserved the best because she always gave her fans the best.  For those who want to judge I have this to say, “if you don’t have anything nice to say then keep your mouth shut”.

I promise I won’t say anything not nice. Whitney loved her drugs, cigarettes, booze so much that I’m surprised she lived such a wonderful, happy, fulfilling life.

We might have heard a part of God thru Whitneys voice 20 years ago. But recently we heard the voice of the Devil in her voice and actions.

There is more love coming from Oprah than you right now.  You need to love yourself first, get to know who we really are, and learn that we are all ONE in this Universe…Maybe then you would understand what true love is, and you would NEVER throw stones at anyone.  Love does not judge.

        Shame on you!!
