Nicolas Cage is not a vampire … he just looks like one. Even the actor is conceding the uncanny resemblance between himself and a Tennessee man photographed in 1870. A picture of the unidentified man is being described by an eBay seller as a “walking undead/vampire” who “reinvents himself once every 75 years.”

Still, the actor insists that he’s no creature of the night. “I have gotten out of bed in the morning and looked in the mirror just to make sure I was still there and I was … so that would probably end those rumors because I was told that vampires don’t have reflections,” Cage joked. “And I don’t drink people’s blood … so,” he continued.

Still, Cage understands the value of a good rumor and doesn’t want to dispel this one just yet. “Why don’t we just keep it a mystery, it might be a lot more fun for everybody if I just say, ‘It’s possible.’”
