MediaTakeOut claims that R&B singer Chris Brown will be arrested on Tuesday in connection with the alleged theft of a Florida woman’s iPhone 4S. According to the website:

“The Florida State Attorney will file formal charges against R&B singer Chris Brown. We’re told, by a person with IMPECCABLE CREDENTIALS, that he will be asked to turn himself in to the Miami Police Department. We’re told that Chris Brown’s attorneys will be contacted today.”

Unlike MTO, that has never met a story worth fact checking, we spoke with the Office of the Florida State Attorney and the Miami P.D. who updated us on the investigation.

According to a spokesman for the State Attorney, if charges are filed, it will not be until the prosecutor handling the case finishes a trial he’s currently on, which will not be today. And Officer Deborah Doty with Miami Police tells RumorFix that there are no updates involving the Chris Brown case; it remains under investigation.
