Through a very reliable source, RumorFix has confirmed that Demi Moore has checked into rehab at the Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah.

Our sources say the Margin Call actress has been at the facility for eight days, which explains why she missed her daughter Tallulah’s 18th birthday on Friday. And, it also contradicts reports that estranged husband Ashton Kutcher visited Demi at home on Wednesday, because she was already at the treatment facility.

The 49-year-old actress is being treated for eating disorder issues and various substance abuse issues — not illegal drugs, RumorFix has learned. Her big issue now — not surprisingly — is depression.

Doctors are recommending that she stay at the facility for 60 days. Demi’s rep wouldn’t comment on the story other than referring us to the original statement that says Demi is getting “professional assistance” for “exhaustion” and “stress.”
