Sources have confirmed that Whitney Houston’s autopsy is complete and her family have claimed her body from the morgue.

Assistant chief coroner Ed Winter confirmed to RumorFix that Houston’s body was released on Monday and arrangements are being made by the family.

The Beverly Hills Police Department also announced on Monday that details of the autopsy will not be released to the public.

Lt. Mark Rosen says, “As can be expected in a high profile incident such as this there have been many rumors circulating and much speculation by the media and the public.  In order to minimize such speculation, the Beverly Hills Police Department has asked the Coroner’s office to place a security hold on their findings until they have a complete and final report prepared.

“To preserve the integrity of our investigation we cannot comment at this time regarding any specifics of that investigation.  We also cannot speculate on what may have caused or contributed to her death. The actual cause of death will be determined by the LA Co. Coroner’s Office following final toxicology results.”
