The judge for The Voice told E Talk that he wasn’t going to be a surprise guest with Madonna during the Superbowl halftime show, but as we all know now he was not telling the truth.

This is what he told the host of ETalk with a straight face: “I’ll be at home [Atlanta] with family and friends and probably eating something – some finger foods — some wings and some chicken fingers and stuff like that — enjoying the game I guess.”
When asked if one of those friends is Madonna, he answered: “I wish she was a friend of mine.”
