Hollywood’s elite drove through the historic Paramount Pictures gates depicted in the 1950 film Sunset Blvd and directly to Stage 18 where the Gloria Swanson film was shot — then they got ready for their closeup.
More than 100 stars gathered Friday right after their Golden Globes commitments and posed for a picture marking the studio’s 100th anniversary.
RumorFix has learned that every star that has made a Paramount blockbuster was invited. So of course, The Godfather crew was there including: Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, James Caan and Francis Ford Coppola. Then there were Grease’s Olivia Newton John and John Travolta, Mission Impossible’s Tom Cruise and Titanic’s Leonardo DiCaprio. The stars kept coming including Barbra Streisand, Justin Bieber, Jack Black, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman.
Directors, who are stars in their own right, were invited including Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. Legends like Mickey Rooney and Shirley MacLaine were spotted at the star-studded affair that was first reported by RumorFix.
Because of the A-list power, Paramount set up another stage just for hair and make-up for the stars. And yet another stage was set up for an after party.
