A popular rumor making the rounds this week is one involving music legend Whitney Houston and her alleged dire financial situation.
“Whitney’s fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released” a source told Radaronline.
“She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke.”
Whitney homeless? And we’re supposed to believe this … yawn …
Anyway, so is Whitney really broke? A source close to the singer and her family tells RumorFix exclusively that the report is absolutely false and that there’s no way the Bodyguard singer could go through her $100 million advance from Arista Records. We also reached out to Whitney’s rep who had this to say:
“This is a ridiculous story and not true. She just completed a movie Sparkle which comes out in August which she also executive produced.
That being stated, until we see some Chapter 13 paperwork, we’re not buying this tabloid’s gossip.
