Jimmy Clabots, who stars in Showtime’s reality show Gigolos, tells RumorFix exclusively, “The battery charges against me are not true.”
The 31-year-old real-life male escort was arrested and charged with domestic violence Friday after a verbal altercation with his girlfriend.
Clabots, who also goes by the name of Jimmy Dior, lives in Los Angeles and had been dating his girlfriend for a year and a half before they broke up in early January.
Sources close to the couple tell RumorFix that the reality star visited his ex on Friday after she claimed she was attacked by another man. When Jimmy arrived, his friends claim, the girl had a black eye and bruised ribs. The couple allegedly argued over whether she should call police. And, when police arrived, friends claim, she turned the story around and blamed Jimmy for the attack.
UPDATE: Jimmy’s ex, Samantha Hemingway, called RumorFix to tell her side of the story. The escort-turned-medical student tells RumorFix that the argument started over a painting and “he pushed me and kicked me out of bed.” She adds, “Then he grabbed my neck and that’s when I called police.”
Clabots, who also starred in Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild, spent six hours in jail and was released Friday after posting a $50,000 bail. He’s due in court again on February 17, 2012.
