Back-up dancer Casper Smart, 24, took to his Twitter page to defend critics who claim that his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, 42, is robbing the cradle. In a somewhat eloquent rant – if there is such a thing – Casper expressed strong affection for the American Idol host, and a loss of patience with critics.

“Age, status and opinions of others are irrelevant. Our hearts are endless and our souls infinite. Our ages are mere reminders of the hours logged on this earth, and the precious time remaining,” he wrote.

“We should all honor our time here by indulging our passion and dreams. So, close your ears and open your hearts; Love and be happy!”

Proving that the feeling is mutual, Ms. Lopez later retweeted her boy toy’s messages. Barf!
