An astute RumorFix reader tipped us off to one of the possible reason that a gray-haired lady has been cast on The Bachelor.
On ABC’s website, a woman by the name of Sheryl is listed among the other contestants on the dating show, but RumorFix has confirmed she is not a contestant.

An ABC rep says all will be revealed in the first episode.
Sheryl, who is old enough to be Ben Flajnik’s grandmother, is actually a grandmother, Bachelor blogger , Reality Steve tells us. “She’s one of the contestant’s grandmother and she’s there to introduce Ben to her granddaughter. Ben walks her back to the limo and she leaves,” Steve says.
Steve claims sweet Sheryl is Brittney’s grandma. We’ll all have to wait and see if he’s right January 2, 2012 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
