Earlier this week, Katy Perry blasted tabloid reports that she was filing for divorce from Russell Brand, now Brand is doing the same.

The British comedian appeared on Ellen DeGeneres Show to address the divorce gossip, jokingly telling the talk show host, “There are always rumors, aren’t there? In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because of the nude women websites I quite enjoy.”

“I’ve treated the whole Internet now like it’s a wicked little liar,” the 36 year old comedian continued before turning serious. “Yeah. I am really happily married. I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge.”

The couple wed in October 2010 in a lavish Indian celebration, but have been plagued by divorce rumors ever since.
