Nicole Scherzinger, Kelly Rowland Swapping Chairs On X Factor?

X Factor producers in the United States and United Kingdom are reportedly planning to swap two of their most popular judges. According to online rumors, Nicole Scherzinger, who works on the US version of the show, and UK judge Kelly Rowland, will be doing a little switch-a-roo next season.

X Factor executive producer Simon Cowell was asked about the swap and to the dismay of some, shot the rumor down. “No, it’s not true,” the mogul told our friends at Entertainment Tonight before insinuating that replacing Scherzinger with Rowland might not be such a bad idea.

“Now that you mention it,” he added, “I think Kelly in poor ol’ Nicole’s position would have been a better choice. But you know what, they’re stuck to what they’re paid to do, but I’m just not very happy.”

For her part,  Nicole also said the report was nothing more than a rumor.
