You are looking at pictures of Selena Gomez’ alleged stalker Thomas Brodnicki as he was peeking through a glass door during a recent hearing.
He’s the 46-year-old who says he speaks to God and allegedly “entertained thoughts of killing,” Justin Bieber’s girlfriend, and was released from jail on Wednesday, but re-arrested on Thursday by LAPD to possibly put him on mental health hold, reports TMZ. RumorFix has made calls to LAPD to confirm these reports.
On Thursday, the judge said there was insufficient evidence to prove Brodnicki would cause Selena harm.
In her declaration from October, Selena writes, “I am in extreme fear of Mr. Brodnicki due to his direct threat on my life, his obsessive, harassing, and threatening behavior to me, as well as his criminal history of stalking. I feel that my personal safety, as well as the safety of those around me is in jeopardy.”
RumorFix spoke to Jane Robison at the LA DA’s office who told us:
“We argued vigorously that it should go forward but the judge dismissed it. If he (Thomas Brodnicki) is arrested again we will consider future charges but at this point it’s under review and we can’t really comment.”
