In a lawsuit filed Thursday and obtained by RumorFix, Kathy Salem alleges that she was invited to a party in July that was to be televised for the TV show, but she claims she was told she would solely be part of the background.
However, Kathy claims she had “unwittingly been cast as a ‘bad girl’ and the result was her being publically humiliated and assaulted for the benefit of … Shahs of Sunset.”
Kathy says a guy came to talk to her at the party and later his fiancee started to call Kathy obscene names, then someone else threw water on her face.

Ryan, his production company and Bravo are being sued for $100,000 for the alleged damage to her reputation and mental well being. And furthermore, Kathy is trying to stop the episode from airing. She’s asking for a jury trial.
A source close to the production tells RumorFix, “It’s a frivolous lawsuit.”
