In the wake of Kim Kardashian’s shock divorce filing, Kris Humphries is leaning on his family for support.

In an exclusive interview with Kris’ grandfather Dom Lemke, we discover that his family barely knew Kim – not surprising considering they live in Minnesota and Kim and Kris only dated for seven months before getting married.

‘He’s gonna be fine,” says Don. “You know how that is, life just keeps on going … keep somebody busy for a week or two and they won’t even know who they are.”

Don revealed that while Kris was not happy, he would recover with the help of his family and his strong Christian beliefs.

“I have no idea about this personal deal, they don’t come any better than him [Kris].  He’s a tremendous young man, that much I know! I watched him from the time he was born all the way through, he’s a strong Christian. But you never know, when somebody gives their heart to somebody you just never know … he’ll come out of it, he’ll be ok.”

And as for Kim, Don admitted he barely knew her at all. “I only met her for about 30-45 mins. How’re you gonna like somebody in half an hour?”

      Kim Played that Poor Boy and His Family…Even though I find Kris REALLY ANNOYING- There is way better people out there!

      Once in a while I watched the episodes of Kim and Kris.  Kris at times seemed hesitant to go thru with the wedding.  He probably should have followed his heart.  He probably should have not been involved with the whole Kardashian reality show.  Perhaps then Kim would have dropped him real early.
