Kim Kardashian Reveals What She’s Going To Do With Her Wedding Gifts

After filing for divorce from a  72 day marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian released this statement on her blog Tuesday afternoon:

“This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are helping me through this difficult time.

I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it’s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!

Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.

I’m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this isn’t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.

There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.

I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart and I believe now that I really am.”

      Kim sweetheart god gives us the right to choose. The only perfect man to ever walk on this earth was Jesus. So noone should claim to be perfect. Well all make mistakes.We live and learn.       Kim got caught up in the idea of everything an probably kept talking herself into thinking that getting married was what she really wanted an that it would fill the gap she is missing in her life. Instead, the best thing would have been to listen to her family. They were all concerned about things happening too soon (especially Khloe, which is ironic), but they were right. Kim got caught up in a fairytale an wasnt thinking about all the people that she would hurt. So the lesson from all of this is to just let things happen. Dont rush into something that is so serious! You find what your looking for when you least expect it. Take your time an make sure your TRUELY happy an dont lie to yourself.

      Married for Love?  Perhaps she was in love at the moment. However, marriage is something that needs to be worked on and she never gave it a chance.  I wonder how often she was with Kris.  Divorcing is way to easy today.  People should have to go thru a process before allowing to divorce. Especially stars because they seem to make a mokery of marriage.   I wonder what kind of heart following Kim has that she gave the marriage only 72 days.  If she feels that she should have ended the relationship prior to the wedding then she should have. Blaming it on the show is ridiculous.  She should be giving back the ring at least regardless of any prenup.  The fairy tail wedding needs to be taken off the air.

       ”donating the money for all the gifts.”  Ok, by rights, the gifts should be returned to the giver with a hand-written thank you note, according to what an etiquette expert said. It would be up to the giver to donate (including the $4,000 vase), sounds like the K’s idea of damage control.
      And what about the proceeds from the wedding?  Kim and her mother have said they didn’t make money, how could that be?  According to reports they made millions from E & People for filming and photos. It “makes her sad to even have to clarify this”. Why? It’s either true or it isn’t.

      First of all if you watched the Kardashian’s you will see that they were not a match. Kris has some sweet sides to him but he is immature jerk. He has no business getting married to anyone at this point in his life, he clearly is not ready. Kim is far more mature and business minded for him, she needs an equal in a match for her. She was also too quick to fall in love w him, I think she followed her heart but you can see at the rehearsal dinner she knew things were wrong and went through it anyway. She claimed they both hated eachother right then, got caught up in the wedding stuff, fighting. She knew that is not the way it is supposed to be, so I believer her when she say she got caught up in the wedding stuff but it was too late. Another thing, her mom, Courtney and Khloe all picked up that they were not a good match. They know Kim the best, inside the show and outside the show.  Finally, this is celebrity life, she is not the first to get a fast divorce and won’t be the last. Claims that she got money for pictures etc for the wedding…What celebrity doesn’t? She does not owe anyone an appology. she didn’t get married to please the public and doesn’t need to please them though the divorce. Kim, this your life and don’t worry about the rest. Hang in there, only you know whqt you are going through. Tomorrow there will be another story, so again hang in there. Your smart beautiful and YOU will find the right person when god is ready. Trust me.

      The only thing Kim loves is cold hard cash!  She has been married before so this wasn’t her first go round.  She should have returned the gifts NOT cashed them in.  If she wanted to make a donation to charity, do it with your own money not the money from gifts received for this sham/publicity stunt marriage!  There are real people with real problems out in the world who can’t find work or pay bills so sorry if I don’t feel sorry for her and her $10 million wedding!

      Remember when Kris opened Khloe’s wedding gifts and was using her waffle iron? And of course, Khloe freaked out. 
      I have only watched a few episodes, but that one is unforgettable.  Maybe mama will go through all Kim’s gifts first to see what she can use.
