Kate Gosselin Slams Tabloids Over Jon Gosselin Rumor

Kate Gosselin is blasting tabloids for reporting that Jon Gosselin was forced to take care of their eight children to save money so she could go on an Australian vacation with her bodyguard last week.

“To set the record straight, Jon did NOT keep the kids during my recent trip and especially not so I could save money,” she tweeted. “Sick of all the fables and fairy tales. Don’t believe what you read! Sick [of] how tabloids prey on people, especially moms trying to support their kids! Move on people.”

But then after saying Jon did not keep the kids during her trip, Kate makes this concession:

“My babysitter had the [kids] except for 24 hours, and we all wish he would take them more than his chosen custody! Would be great for all!”

RumorFix accurately reported last week that Kate was going down under for business, not vacation. We were also first to report Jon kept the kids during part of Kate’s trip.

      But she doesn’t refute that her and the “bodyguard” were on vacation again.

      She’s leaving the kids again to run in a marathon in Las Vegas. Right, she’s really hurting for money – miss money bags. Her kids did earn her some big bucks.  The body guard will be along on this trip to no doubt.  Never mind the #7 ranked marathon in the USA in less than 200 miles from her home at the Marine base in VA. She rather travel at least 3 days, with the body guard. Can anyone say PHONY!!!!!  PS: Oprah Winfrey has run in the Marine Marathon but it’s not good enough for Kate.

      And yet again, the forget to mention that Jon actually holds at least one job to provide for his children = where is Kate working these days – besides her mouth and twitter!!!!!

      It would have been fair if you had also reported that Kate said Jon took the kids for 24 hours and was she and the kids were very happy about that.  Why leave that out?  Or is it your choice to create drama where there was none. Don’t forget also that Jon tweeted the stories were wrong. Do some fair reporting if you are going to be called Rumor Fix.

      Kate has to have a bodyguard for protection from the loonies that stalk her on Twitter! She had mentioned several days before this that Jon had the kids for 24 hours, but the fools keep on digging at her, so she put them in their place. This wasn’t a vacation, and Jon could have had them the whole time had he wanted to!

        It wasn’t a vacation because she said it wasn’t? What was it – A week with no kids 8000 miles from home with the “body guard”. Having fun at a zoo, Did she bring home a paycheck. She went for a charity lunch, but went days early and stayed days after. Sounds like vacation to me.

      Time will tell if this reality actress was just a one hit wonder who’s outrun the public’s fascination with her or whether she can re invent (and if that includes plastic surgery so be it) herself to play a new role the way traditional actors scrub and play new roles. Of course that might be hard to do when the only role you know how to play is being a disenfranchised washed up Middle American suburban mum caught off guard by the changing of the tide.

      I have no respect for this woman. She exploited her kids for the all might dollar! She used the media to favor her in her divorce! She made all the tv circuit rounds – oh please! Did she think she would be immune to media’s underbelly? I am so sick of her and her self made issues! Stop feeding into the limelight if you don’t want the attention! It’s sad because one day we will she the effects of her “mothering” on her kids! At least Jon shys away from it all! She just a camera wanna be star, famous for ( and I say famous lightly ) the sake of her own self popularity! Makes me gag!

      after the way she went ballistic on the bus trip vacation where one of her friends either did or told kate she could get home on her own; its a wonder shes got anything going on. her on the sarah palin camping trip she blew off paired 2 shrews, i guess we found out which was the worst. apparently jon doesnt see the kids much since his childish behavior about the kids working hours probably led to the shows demise i wouldnt want to be around the situation i created if i was him either. other actors have the same problems they do. their show had a long run. after jons hissy fit i doubt the kids will ever work again till their legal age going to state university. it seems jon has dedicated his life to making kates miserable as it can be
      if he hadnt been such a jerk with tlc something could have been worked out where everybody won but thats not what jon wanted and hes not getting any younger doesnt have anything on his resume except this and it work which i doubt anyone would hire him for after the way hes destroyed life for everyone out of spite
