If the accusations are true that Justin Bieber had sex with a 19-year-old woman when he was sixteen, he could claim “statutory rape,” celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom tells RumorFix.

In a lawsuit filed this week, Mariah Yeater is claiming that Justin got her pregnant and she wants him to submit to a paternity test.

Justin’s camp is vehemently denying the accusations.

Bloom says it doesn’t matter who initiates sex when dealing with a minor. In California, the person over 18 could be charged. If she’s more than three years older than him, it could be a felony.

And here’s one more interesting fact about California law — if Justin is deemed the father of the baby — he will still have to pay child support.
