RumorFix has learned exclusively that Tareq Salahi and his estranged wife, Michaele may meet face-to-face this week for the first time since September — when she ran off with Journey co-founder Neal Schon.
The Salahis, who became famous for allegedly crashing the White House, are having a divorce settlement conference in Virginia before Thanksgiving and they will be at the same place at the same time –but it is uncertain at this time if they will see each other face-to-face.
Tareq may be in too much pain to see Michaele face-to-face. A source close to him tells Rumorfix he’s trying to move on with his life.
Tareq’s attorney, Georgia Rossiter, tells RumorFix exclusively that she drafted a legal letter stating that Michaele and Neal’s public love affair has been “very hurtful to Tareq” and that he’s asking for $17 million from Michaele and her new love.
Although the Real Housewives of Washington D.C. star and her estranged husband are tabloid fodder, Georgia, who calls herself a small town divorce attorney, says, “This case should not be tried in the press.”
Asked if she’s received a response to the request for $17 million dollars, Georgia says, “The only response that I’ve gotten is them laughing on TMZ — nothing official through my office.”
If the laughing stops and the real work begins, Georgia says, the divorce could be final as early as March.
