EXCLUSIVE: Kate Gosselin Traveling To Australia, Leaves Kids Behind

After spending only one day visiting her new co-workers at CouponCabin.com in Whiting, Indiana, Kate Gosselin is now heading down under.

Kate, minus eight, is jetting to Australia to take part in next week’s Steve Irwin Day at the Australia Zoo.   Kate let her fans know on Twitter that she would be involved with the event:

“@christine3465 @Kateplusmy8 kate is it tru ur going2b part of steve irwin day?Loved him dearly! ABSOLUTELY!CANT WAIT2C IRWINS/HELP CAUSE!”

Meanwhile, Kate’s kids are staying behind in Pennsylvania with dad Jon Gosselin. A source close to Jon tells RumorFix that the IT worker is frustrated because Kate doesn’t communicate her world-wind travel plans to him.

This is Kate’s second trip down under over the past year.  Kate and her brood rang in the New Year with a special visit to Steve Irwin’s Australian Zoo where they met the late Crocodile Hunter’s family.  TLC picked up the tab for that trip as Kate filmed episodes for Kate Plus Eight.

      How is this a story? If she took the kids with her, there’d be a story in the tabloids with Jon complaining that she’s interfering with his visitation and taking the kids out of school.  So, according to the article above, Jon is frustrated that she doesn’t communicate her travel plans to him? In this case, the fact that she’s been going to Australia for Steve Irwin Day has been public knowledge for weeks. However, when she does want to go somewhere quietly, with or without the kids, and Jon DOES learn about it, the next thing, SURPRISE!, is that a story about it, always with slurs on Kate’s ability as a mother and praising Jon, is in the tabloids. He didn’t tell her about it when he and Ellen went to Florida. She found out after the fact when his aunt and uncle told her and the kids on Kate + 8. However, IF the kids are staying w/Jon this time, there had to have been some communication since there’s no indication that she dumped the kids on him without warning.  Jon just wants to get in the tabloids and the only way he can do it is as a parasite on Kate & the kids.

        Jon and Ellen didn’t go to Florida.  His Aunt and Uncle live in the Baltimore area — an easy drive from their home.

        Kate spends less time with her kids than Jon does, and she has primary physical custody, yet she moans and complains about Jon not spending any time with the kids.  She’s a piss-poor excuse of a mother.

          Codakatz….   You have no idea what you are talking about..  Jon and Ellen did go to Florida…Jon’s Aunt and Uncle have houses in both places and Jon and Ellen visited them in Florida….

          Jon ONLY sees the kids every 2nd weekend.  Thats all…..and on some occasions he cancels that visit when it doesn’t suit him…… He also stopped taking the children on his weeknight because he said he is too busy…. Get your facts correct before you post….

            You know way to much about Jon and Ellen personal lives.  Get a life.

            And Kate should give Jon a few days notice when she is going to leave so that Jon can get things settled and work things out. 

            Unlike Kate, Jon has a job.  It would be nice if Kate let Jon know in advanced when she is leaving.

            It’s called common courtesy.   Of course you and Kate would know nothing about it.  It’s not like Kate is busy working that it’s preventing her from communicating with Jon.

        So Jon and Ellen went to Florida.  Were the kids involved in any way, shape or form?  Nah, didn’t think so. If she went to drop the kids off with Jon and he wasn’t there, that’s a problem.  If Jon was supposed to drop the kids at home and he had taken them to Florida, that’s a problem.
        She hauls the kids wherever she wants with no thought to Jon’s visitation rights.  She also leaves them with nannies when Jon would likely enjoy more visitation.
        Focus on what’s important.   The fact that you think Jon should know what’s going on because it’s in the tabloids is ridiculous.  Kate should show some common courtesy.

      Peggy, are you writing fanfic? There’s no way you can know enough about Jon and Ellen’s personal life to jump to the conclusions you have. You have taken parts of a heavily edited reality show, remarks on twitter, and quotes from anonymous sources in tabloids and shaped them into the story you want to believe. There are more facts about Kate’s life than Jon’s because she blabs about it on a public twitter account and a blog. She has insulted Jon, admitted to abandoning her kids on Halloween without making arrangements for them to go trick or treating, and admitted to telling Collin to crawl under her vant. These are words from her own mouth. Then there are the pictures of Kate hitting Leah and the one of the kids having been left alone in the van in a parking lot. These are hard, cold facts. What FACTS do you have to support your allegations against Jon? You might want to stop chasing your boogeyman Jon and take a closer look at your heroine Kate. She ain’t worth the effort you’re putting in to defend her.

      Kate has the huge feet and hands to match that horse face.  Her feet where she is warped in the Red Cross blanket was a shocker.

      Who cares if Jon and Ellen went to Florida. They are adults working full time jobs. Kate is an absentee, abusive stay at home mother who has never taken her kids on vacation unless TLC was footing the bill. The kids didn’t get one vacation this past summer, not even a day trip to the beach. Kate is only happy and excited when she is far far away from home and kids with Steve. 

      Maybe Jon doesn’t see the kids during the week because he gets home from work at 6 or 6:30. That late to start dinner for 8 kids, homework, driving to and from their home. If Kate wasn’t such a horrible mother and ex wife, she could put her children first and invite Jon over for a simple burger night and pool swim during the summer months one night a week. But she has never been and will never be anything near gracious. It’s all about Kate, all the time, every day, every interview. Why does she need to travel to LV to run a marathon when the #7 ranked race i the USA is less than 200 miles from her home at the Marine Base in VA. Even Oprah has run it. Kate just finds any excuse to suite her to travel far, far from home. That is why she took the mediocre coupon job, it’s an excuse to be away from home and kids plenty until she pisses them all off with her “work” attitude. She can’t handle a real job.

      I’d like to fix a rumor.  The kids might have stayed behind in Pennsylvania but they did NOT stay with dad Jon Gosselin.

      Actually, the person who made the comment that Jon spends more time with the kids than Kate is 150% correct . Come to Reading, PA and see for yourself. Kate went on Regis and Kelly and babbled that her kids hated to go to Jon’s house and that is simply NOT true. You always see them out with Jon during his visitation HAPPY…SMILING…LAUGHING. On the RARE times they’re with Kate, they’re miserable and crying. Of course you very rarely  see her with them now, thankfully because that insane show was cancelled.

      Those of you who worship Kate…find a new role model. Seriously. If you saw her in action when the cameras were not rolling, you’d be horrified.

      Here’s hoping she stays in Australia and NEVER returns home. You can’t begin to imagine how thrilled we residents of Reading, PA would be if she left and never ever returned.

      Taking a trip is fine, but who’s minding the new business that she JUST started?  Probably will be part of a reality show excluding her children before you know it
