Twilight star Kellan Lutz is well aware of the rumors regarding his sexuality. Some bloggers have speculated that the hunky actor might be gay. This has prompted him to come forward to set the record straight once and for all on the legitimacy of those rumors.

Lutz recently sat down the with The Advocate and had this to say about the gay gossip. “I don’t Google myself, but I’ve heard that people think I’m gay. I’ve heard it all,” he explains.

“See, I don’t really go after girls,” Lutz continues. “Most of the girlfriends I’ve had have come after me. So it’s really funny when girls get offended because I don’t hit on them. They’ll transform their insecurity into, ‘Oh, that makes sense, because I heard you’re into guys and have a boyfriend.’ I’m like, ‘Seriously? That’s your tactic to get me to like you?’”

Not really a smart tactic ladies. Anyway, despite the rumors Lutz appears pretty secure in who he is. “There will always be rumors, but I know who I am,” he tells the magazine.

Sorry fellas, but ladies, now you know what the deal is! So the next time you see Mr. Lutz, don’t make the mistake of projecting your insecurities onto him.
