Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only celeb celebrating their birthday in Vegas on Saturday night. While the reality star was busy partying over at Marquee Nightclub with her hubby Kris, Canadian rapper Drake was holding down the fort with his own entourage at TAO.

The Young Money artist popped bottles with friends, family and fans inside the posh Vegas hot spot. Drake’s childhood friend, DJ Future the Prince, flew in for the occasion working the deejay booth while the hip-hop star and friends took over a group of VIP tables on the dance floor.

Despite his celebrity status, Drake made sure to greet his fans; and proving he really appreciates their support, purchased 200 shots for the crowd, telling them, “I’m celebrating my birthday and want you all to celebrate with me. Go to the bar and get your shot on me.”

The rapper also received 20 bottles of champagne, prompting him to say, “I don’t know how I am going to drink all this. Guess I will have to share it.” And share he did, passing out bottles of champagne to folks on the dance floor.

The birthday boy, who stayed on the mic for much of the night, was presented with a cake in the shape of a varsity jacket and had a surprise visit from Birdman, co-founder of Cash Money Records and rapper Mack Maine, who is president of Young Money Entertainment.

The party marks the beginning of what is expected to be an exciting couple of months for Drake, with the release of his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Take Care, on November 15.
