The rich and famous do things differently than the rest of us.

We caught up with Charlie Sheen’s ex, Brooke Mueller, in Hollywood recently and she revealed, “I have a sober companion.”

Brooke, who is the mom to Charlie’s two sons Max and Bob, has had the live-in companion for what she calls a “very, very, very long time.” If we are doing our math correctly, Brooke was photographed with a crack pipe in July — so we estimate she’s been sober for about three months.

And, yes, we acknowledge, for people in recovery, that’s a “very, very very long time.”

Brooke’s sober companion gave Brooke high marks: “She’s doing amazing. She’s doing really well. She’s a hero,” she said.
