In a world exclusive interview with RumorFix, Amanda Knox’s grandmother Elisabeth Huff talks about the 24-year-old finally coming home.
“I am elated, I can’t even tell anyone how I feel right now,” says Elisabeth Huff, 74. “I’m just waiting for her to get here. It’s such a relief … the idea that you can get accused of murder, the most vicious crime you can think of, when you have nothing to do with that, and you are unable to defend yourself. Amanda is an absolutely lovely girl, she always has been, and it was just unbelievable that this could happen.”

Despite pouring her life savings into Amanda’s appeal, grandma has no regrets. “We all pitched in — that’s what you do,” she told RumorFix exclusively.
Amanda’s grandmother revealed that while the family is still wrapping their heads around the idea that Amanda will be home soon, there are a few things Amanda requested for her homecoming.
“When she comes home she said she wants to just lay in the wide green grass. Well, we do have a yard for her to lay in! I think her main thing is just to get home and relax, to spend time with the people who love her. These are the first things she will do. We need to give her a little space, a little time.
Our plan is to give her time and let her decide what she wants to do. It’s about what’s important to her – we didn’t sit in jail, she did.”
