Charlie Sheen Gets A Job With FX

Charlie Sheen is returning to TV next summer on FX with his new sitcom, Anger Management, RumorFix has confirmed with Charlie’s rep.

The cable network has ordered 10 episodes of the comedy, loosely based on the movie that starred Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler.

If it’s successful, FX will pick up an additional 90 episodes under a syndication deal. Charlie, who made nearly $2 million an episode on Two and a Half Men, keeps a significant ownership stake in the show.

Producer Joe Roth says, “I have been fortunate to work with Charlie Sheen on six hit films. Now to have Charlie, the number one comedy star on TV, doing Anger Management, feels like a perfect fit.”
