Berry’s owner has handed the 10-year-old mutt over to the German Shepherd Dog Rescue in the UK and officials there are now looking for an adoptive family.
The dog, who played the animal version of Gary Oldman’s character Sirius Black and the godfather to Daniel Radcliffe’s character Harry, can no longer be looked after by his owner, Paul Thompson. Trained stuntman Paul, said he spends too much time away from home to give Berry the attention that he deserves.
Thompson is also looking for a new home for Berry’s life-long friend Porridge, a German Shepherd cross.
