Meet the New Real Housewives Of New York!

Posted on September 22nd, 2011 at 10:28 am

In out latest post from guest blogger and Real Housewives expert LynnNChicago, we meet some new Housewives!

“Bravo hasn’t formally announced who will replace former Housewives, Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon but as is usual with Bravo, they “leaked” out the names of three women without actually confirming anything.  In Bravo’s attempt to bring in young, fresh New York Housewives, they’ve reportedly signed three fascinating women.

In an ironic twist of fate for Jill Zarin, one of the replacement housewives is Heather Thomson, creator of Yummy Shapewear.  This news should be the end of poor Jill, her head just might explode before the official release of Jill’s own shapewear line.

PREVIOUS: Real Housewives Of New York- Who’s In, Who’s Out?

Heather’s very successful line of shapewear comes from 15-years of being a very successful designer and stylist.  She’s worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment.   Heather has worked alongside superstars Beyoncé Knowles and Jennifer Lopez to create and launch their respective labels. These groundbreaking collaborations and Yummie by Heather Thomson have given her a respected place in the fashion world.  Heather is married and has a son and a daughter.  Sorry Jill.

Carole Radziwill is the widow of Prince Anthony Radziwill.  Radziwill was the only son of prince Stanislas Radziwill and Lee Radziwill (younger sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis). He died on August 10, 1999 at age 40 after a five-year battle with cancer.  Radziwill was also very close friends of Carolyn Bessette and John F Kennedy Jr. – Carole wrote a book called “What Remains” about her life story.  Carole lost her husband and her dear friends Carolyn and John within just three weeks of each other.

Ms. Aviva Drescher is being touted as a philanthropist but lists her job as CEO of the Drescher Family, her husband, Reid Drescher, is the founder of Spencer Clarke Securities & Investment Banking.  We’re told that Aviva is being billed as the ‘Wall Street wife.’ She is married and has three children.”

Sounds like these three women are accomplished enough that they won’t feel the need to resort to petty high school antics to one-up each other, ala Jill Zarin.  Looking forward to the new season of RHONY.

      • Allison992

Terrific! We’re sick of the BS…looking forward to the newbies.

      • Puffer Lip some more

Laughable flawed logic that bravo housewives feel the need to be petty high school antics because they are not

        • Joanh

accomplished enough.    Of course the usual reference to JillZ added to every comment.  She’s been fired bye bye

They sound like very accomplished women. I remember Carole from Oprah’s show. Impressive indeed.

    • Adgirl

I can’t wait to see this new season.  What a step up from watching the mean girls make that cheap azz viodeo.

    • Chrissie_in_NYC

Gonna have to take a look at Yummie Tummie. Anything has to be better than Squeeze wear that you can see peeping out beneath your clothes. Tacky. Just tacky.

    • Swimmer2swimmer

Can’t wait to here the confessionals of the Wall Street wife. Can’t wait to see Luann squirm in the presence of these new women.

    • dsc60

i don’t think any of these women have to get down on their knees for diamonds.  i can understand the claim that Jill, Kelly, Cindy and Alex won’t fit in although it would have been comical seeing Kelly trying to communicate with these new housewives.  somehow they don’t seem like the sand angel making type nor do i believe they consider gummy bears to be “healthful.”

    • Offwithherhead

I’m just glad Jill is gone. She was the ringleader of the toxicity on RHONY. Although I’m not a big fan of Kelly and Alex, I would have loved for them to have remained without Jill. I believe the dynamics would have been different without Jill’s meanness and her using Kelly as a mouthpiece. Good luck to the new ladies. You all will do fine without the queen B*tch Jill there to screw it up.

WISH CAT COULD JOIN THE CAST. NOT SURE IF I WL WATCH OR NOT. NO JILL AND NO CINDY MAYBE I WILL.

    • Lorisa Smith

i cant believe jills going that is just wrong she is funny, honest and a joy to watch. but as she is    so talented theres nothing she can’t do… good luck i wish u all the best!!1 God Bless You and the family xxx

      • Vilzvet

A joy to watch? We must be watching different shows! This past season especially the reunion episodes were uncomfortable at the very least, Jill is filled with jealousy and it has destroyed some of her past friendships (hint, hint) and now has led to her butt being canned from TV. That is the blessing she needed! Buh bye Jill and the other former cast who almost ruined the show.

Lorisa, are you being funny.  Jill was a joy to watch?  She is such a money hungry, mean spirited wannabe.  He voice is so irritating.  I mute it each time she comes on. She pushes everything to earn the almighty dollar.  As a Jewish person, she is an embarrassment to our culture, religion and ethics.  She put down Alex at a wedding.  Again as a Jew, we should not forget our history.  There was a mad man who slaughtered us and even today, we are being put down.  Jill, you may no longer be on the show, but stop it.  The social ladder climbing should not be at the expense of others.

      • Marikay1961

Im not sure what show you are watching either, or maybe you  need glasses!  Jill Zarin is the most annoying thing on TV.  I had to turn it off!  Now that she is gone I WILL watch again….You must be getting a discount on your fabric at Zarin for you living room or something to say that!

    • swmo

I liked Jill, but that Simon and his no-talent wife should GO!

      • Debra

I like Alex best of all. Sorry to see her go, will definitely miss her.

    • Maz

Looking forward to this season, I was actually going to stop watching RHONY after seeing last season, I just couldn’t stand Jill, Alex, Kelly or Cindy. I would muted it when Jill came on just cos it would irritate me how many times she said ME or I. Looking forward to the NEW show!

    • Heidigoogle

So glad nutjob Kelly is gone! THANK YOU BRAVO!!!! I agree with Swimmer2Swimmer: Can’t wait to see LuAnn squirm in the presence of these women.  What will Jill do now, she thought this was her show.  You know she will be watching…

    • Mizzymm

Iam just glad that horrible Jill is gone. She is the worst out of all the others.

    • Anonymous

God Bless Bravo! Jill Zarin’s 15 minutes are finally up. But why can’t she just quietly ride off into the sunset?! Obviously the money really is important.

    • Mg19909usa

This is the best news!  I love your hate for Jill and I’m so happy she is fired.  Since she is all over the place speaking about it and letting us all know that she is going to Europe, it a way of showing that it doesn’t bother her when you know it does!!!

Wendy Williams looked annoyed and said how Jill wanted to be on alone without Cindy. What a controlling byach! I’m surprised that Wendy let Jill have her way.  Wendy also said how Jill won’t let her speak and commented that she is always plugging as he did at the end of her segment.  Jill is a disgusting piece of sh8t!  So glad she was fired!  Her rags will flop and she won’t get a tv show.  Nobody wants to see that lowlife!

    • lilymaid

I certainly welcome the new housewives.  I am filled with confusion though, what socially prominent respected person would appear on this program unless they had a hidden agenda……is there a book, divorce or bankruptcy in the future for any of these ladies.

    • muffet

Cannot wait for Carole to put the Countless in her place and show her how true royalty behaves.  These women seem like they have substance and class.  Where the hell did they get Jill?  These three will take down the impostor countess a few pegs.  Lastly, the countless needs to stop racist discussions in her home.  Her daughter did not pick it up, it is taught.

    • Marikay1961

I am SO happy the fired the nut cases from this show…..the first season was a pleasure to watch, until their heads got too big!  Now I turned it off….but I think they forgot to fire LuAnn!  She is another pain in the neck with a chip on her shoulders that needs to go.  She has to quit telling everyone what to do, when her life is a shambles.  Her daughter is a mess and her son is right behind her! Start paying attention to  your kids needs LuAnn and not your own!

    • Mandytamplin

We won’t have to worry about Alex, as I am sure her “modeling” career will take off!
HAHA……REALLY??????? She is one of the most unattractive women I have seen!!!!
