Jim Carrey To Emma Stone: “The Joke Was On Me”

Posted on September 15th, 2011 at 5:26 pm
True

Funnyman Jim Carrey decided to answer the critics of his Emma Stone comedy video in a unique way — by singing Carreyoke songs.

Carrey recently dropped into Arlene’s Garage on New York’s lower east side and before singing  the Bee Gees tune “I Started A Joke,” Carrey said, “I got into a little trouble lately.”

The lyrics of the song speak for themselves: “I thought I was here to make you laugh, but the joke was on me.”

The 49-year-old’s original “I Love You” video to the 23-year-0ld actress created a media frenzy — his site was even shutdown for awhile. He was called  everything from “creepy” to “hilarious,” so Carrey answered those charges by using Radiohead’s “Creepy” lyrics.

“I’m a creep. I’m a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here. I don’t belong here.”

So what we get from this is that Jim Carrey is a creep and the jokes on him!
