When Michaele Salahi ditched her husband to be with Journey guitarist Neal Schon, she didn’t leave behind any children, but RumorFix has learned exclusively she did leave behind a sick pet!

RumorFix has learned that while jilted husband Tareq Salahi is nursing a broken heart, he’s also nursing the former couple’s pet . The dog recently had a heart attack and Tareq is helping him recover.

Michael Lohan reached out to comfort Tareq Thursday, visiting with him at his Virginia farmhouse where Tareq is tending to his dog’s health.

Tareq told Lohan in an e-mail that he hadn’t “been to sleep since she disappeared,” he was”so crushed” and that “I and can’t believe she’s been doing this for so long. I was so scared someone was hurting her, yet I am honestly so lost right now in my life.”

But the night out with Lohan seemed to have lifted the spirits of Salahi, who after their time together told him “this was a great night and thank you for going out. THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart.”

Tareq Salahi filed for divorce from Michaele Friday in Warren County, Virginia just three days after his Real Housewives of DC star vanished, only to turn up in Memphis, Tennessee with lover Neal Schon.

      I wouldn’t mind running into her in a dark alley….not for leaving that douche but for leaving the dying dog behind…Dobes are one family dogs and so attached to their people.  Watching them die from cardiomyopathy is miserable but she could at least give the dog the comfort of not wondering where it’s person is.  Thank god they don’t have kids.  What miserable, shallow c*%t she is.  I hope the Journey loser gives her a dose.
