When you spend four to six hours a day with someone and dancing cheek to cheek — either you grow to hate them or really, really like them.

And sources tell RumorFix exclusively that George Clooney’s ex, Elisabetta Canalis has some “strong chemistry” with her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

It seems Val is giving his older brother and playboy Maks Chmerkovskiy some competition. Our source says Elisabetta and Val haven’t gone out on a formal date yet — but it could happen soon.

Elisabetta denies it all — telling Extra, “No. He’s my teacher and my friend.”
