Is DJ Pauly D too famous for Dancing with the Stars?
PopEater’s Rob Shuter claims the Jersey Shore reality TV star told him in an interview a few weeks ago, “I will do ‘Dancing with the Stars’ when my career dips.”
Shuter took the comment and turned it into a matter-of-fact headline that read, “Pauly D Is Too Good For ‘Dancing With The Stars.” That didn’t sit too well with Pauly Del Vecchio who says his words were taken out of context.

Asked about the quote from our friends over at Huffington Post, the guido says, “I never said I was too famous for [Dancing with the Stars]. I like the show. I think it’s great. But I just think I’d like to do it a little bit later. Right now I’m on tour with Britney, and I have a lot of other things going on, but it’s a great show, though.”
This is the same Rob Shuter who wrongly claimed Jessica Simpson purchased her own engagement ring, and wrote that Neil Patrick Harris was retiring from the entertainment business, so we weren’t exactly buying the DJ Pauly D story anyway.
