It appears the Abercrombie & Fitch’s move to get the cast of Jersey Shore to stop wearing their clothes has created a “situation” they probably wish they could take back.

On Wednesday, the company released a statement saying they would pay The Situation to stop wearing their clothes because they felt he was giving their brand a bad name. The move caused the companies stocks to plummet nearly 10% since, let’s face it, the majority of people who watch Jersey Shore probably shop at A&F.
This caused The Situation to poke fun at the clothing company, tweeting:
“Looks like Abercrombie got themselves into a Situation!”
Michael Sorrentino’s cast mate, JWOWW, chimed in on Facebook:
“Who tells people not to shop at there store?! I WOULD NEVER discriminate anyone from buying my clothes because I love all my fans!!! Regardless of PR stunts or the fact A&F made t-shirts last year to profit off our show, I want my fans to shop where they want to and express yourself with your clothes. A&F are followers anyways … Rock your own look and style! Screw the haters.”
Deena also added:
“Wait … I don’t think I ever wore Abercrombie lol.”
