That must be the school of thought staffers at Star magazine subscribe to. The tabloid is reporting in its latest issue that Bam Margera is the reason for Kat Von D’s split with Jesse James – a love triangle if you will.

According to Star, Jesse broke up with Kat after he accused her of cheating on him with Bam back in July. “Jesse believed Kat had been getting it on with her longtime friend [Jackass star] Bam Margera, and they had a huge blowup over it,” an insider tells the tabloid.

This isn’t the first time tabloids have constructed the illusion of a romance between Bam and Kat. Back in April 2010, bloggers speculated the two were dating after they were photographed hanging out. Bam and Kat both denied the rumors, with Kat writing on Twitter pre Jesse:

“So annoyed! Contrary to silly rumors, Bam Margera and I are NOT dating. I’m currently in a relationship with Nikki Sixx. Hope that clears things up.”

This latest rumors seem to be another case of the tabloids jumping the gun with their story lines. Someone extremely close to Kat tells RumorFix that this affair with Bam Margera rumor is “absolutely false.” And not that this means anything in Los Angeles, but isn’t Bam happily married any-flipping-way?

      So not true! Bam’s girlfriend nikki  is walking right behind them! people are so lame to start rumors like that. these two have been friends for a million years. Umm, our economy is collapsing and we are at war. Maybe focus your attention on those issues, and stop fabricating false excuses for people’s personal matters.

      Bam is married and his wife’s name is Missy but if you ever check out his twitter page you can see that it seems like he cheats on her all the time. There have been so many pictures of him with other women (inappropriate pics) who are not his wife, so this story is not to far off.

      He seems like a dirt ball that would cheat on his wife. Remember all the reports of him cheating already so I would not be surprised if this story has some truth to it. She does seem like his type of girl.
