Kirstie Alley is returning to her sitcom roots, almost 20 years after she was on Cheers, RumorFix has confirmed.

A source close to the talks about the Dancing with the Stars finalist tells RumorFix that Kirstie is close to a deal with ABC for a pilot called The Manzanis, which features a very opinionated wife/mother who, along with her family moves to a repressed country club town.
When Kirstie was on the hit ABC dance competition show, she said that she was up for TV and film projects.
